OPENING CRUSHING SEASON 2023 PG REJOSO MANIS INDO

Blitar - Coinciding with May 15, 2023 PG Rejoso Manis Indo has started the 2023 sugarcane milling season. In 2023, PG Rejoso Manis Indo targets sugarcane milling of 1.25 million tons, which is an increase compared to the sugarcane milling target in 2022 of 1.1 million tons. The increase in sugarcane milling target is based on the enthusiastic level of sugarcane farmers who send their sugarcane harvest to PG Rejoso Manis Indo.

In addition to targeting the amount of sugarcane milled as much as 1.25 million tons, PG Rejoso Manis Indo also targets a yield of 7.92%. The yield target in 2023 has decreased compared to that in 2022, which was 8.2% and could only be achieved at 7.48%. The decline in yield achievement in 2022 was due to high rainfall which affected the amount of sugarcane yield.

Despite the lower yield in 2022, PG Rejoso Manis Indo ranked first among Sugar Factories in Java and ranked 4th in Indonesia. With the achievement of the previous yield, it is expected that the target of the company can be realized, especially with the synergy of various parties. Management has also made various policies such as sugar cane that must be clean, so as to minimize sugar loss during the cooking process, and factory efficiency.

Of the 1.25 million tons of sugarcane milling target, PG Rejoso Manis Indo targets a sugar production output of 98 thousand tons and this target has also increased from last year's achievement of 90 thousand tons. Various preparations have been carefully prepared by PT Rejoso Manis Indo in the hope of achieving the specified target and support from all lines is needed to be able to realize sugar self-sufficiency in Indonesia.
