As a Form of Concern for Sugarcane Delivery Drivers, Dept. Onfarm Distributes Drinks in Between the Queue to Deposit Sugarcane

Onfarm Officer Distributing Ringa Drinks to Sugarcane Drivers

RMI - The sugarcane milling season at PG Rejoso Manis Indo has started since mid-May 2023. The enthusiasm of farmers to send their best sugarcane harvest to PG Rejoso Manis Indo is very high this sugarcane harvest season. Using a fleet of trucks, the sugarcane from these farmers is transported and brought to PG Rejoso Manis Indo to be processed into sugar.

Every day there are around 1200 to 1300 trucks carrying sugarcane from farmers that enter PG Rejoso Manis Indo. The process of delivering sugarcane to the sugar factory goes through a queuing system before the sugarcane finally enters the grinding machine.

In the middle of the queue, the team from the Onfarm Department of PT Rejoso Manis Indo went around and checked the sugar cane from farmers that had entered the yard of PG Rejoso Manis Indo. On this occasion, the team from the Onfarm Department gave drinks to several sugar cane truck drivers who were waiting in line.

The provision of these drinks is a form of PG Rejoso Manis Indo's concern for the sugarcane truck drivers who are queuing to deposit sugarcane. According to him, the provision of food or soft drinks is a form of appreciation for sugarcane truck drivers who have transported sugarcane in a neat order and the sugarcane transported looks clean.

With this action, it is hoped that it can motivate drivers to maintain and improve the quality of sugar cane brought to PG RMI according to the MBS criteria (Sweet, Clean and Fresh).
