Surabaya - PT Rejoso Manis Indo received an award from the LKBN Antara Bureau of East Java as an Environmentally Friendly Modern Sugar Factory. PT Rejoso Manis Indo's success in achieving this achievement cannot be separated from various innovations and the company's commitment to paying attention to environmental sustainability. Deputy Main Director of PT Rejoso Manis Indo Syukur Iwantoro said that his party would like to thank LKBN Antara, especially the East Java Bureau, which has given its appreciation to the company in the form of giving an award to PT Rejoso Manis Indo as an Environmentally Friendly Modern Sugar Factory. According to Syukur, his party feels proud of the award given and in this case it shows that the company is not only paying attention to the profit aspect, but emissions from the production process, waste management and environmental sustainability are also receiving serious attention. Not only preserving the environment, PT Rejoso Manis Indo is also a socially environmentally friendly company for the people in the Blitar Regency area. The Rejoso Manis Indo Sugar Factory was built in an area where the population is classified as lower middle class so that its current existence is considered capable of improving the economy and welfare of the community, especially those around the factory.

Meanwhile, Head of LKBN Antara East Java Bureau, Rahmat Hidayat, said that in commemoration of the 86th anniversary of LKBN Antara, his party gave appreciation and appreciation to Regional Heads, Agencies, BUMD and Private Companies who had given their best service to East Java. According to Rahmat, this award was given based on an assessment with measurable and accountable indicators.
