Blitar - In order to increase national food self-sufficiency, PT Rejoso Manis Indo - Mitr Phol Group provided facilities for 20 RMI partner sugarcane farmers to participate in a mock study on sugarcane farming in Thailand.

Public and Government Relations Manager of PT Rejoso Manis Indo - Mitr Phol Group Putut Hindaruji said that PG RMI fully supports the government's program to achieve food self-sufficiency. In 2025, the company has a program to invite sugarcane farmers who are partners of PG RMI to take part in a mock study to Thailand in February 2025.

Putut explained the reason Thailand was chosen as the destination country to conduct a mock study for sugarcane farmers because Thailand is one of the countries that contributes sugar in ASEAN. Therefore, he invited sugarcane farmers who are PG RMI's partners to learn about sugarcane farming in Thailand with the hope of increasing sugarcane productivity in Indonesia.

In this mock study activity, PT Rejoso Manis Indo - Mitr Phol Group facilitated all the needs of sugarcane farmers who were dispatched to Thailand. Starting from administrative arrangements to leave for Thailand to accommodation while in the country of the white elephant.

PT Rejoso Manis Indo - Mitr Phol Group also collaborates with the Blitar Non TPI Class 2 Immigration Office in this program by helping to fulfill the documents needed by these sugarcane farmers to leave for Thailand. Sugarcane farmers who will depart for Thailand receive assistance in processing passports at the Blitar Non TPI Class 2 Immigration Office.

PT Rejoso Manis Indo - Mitr Phol Group also expressed its gratitude for the support provided by the Immigration Office of Class 2 Non TPI Blitar which facilitated the passport management for these sugarcane farmers.
